Bridge Dedication
The Coburg Alumni Association and officials in Montgomery County, held a bridge dedication Friday afternoon, May 24th near Coburg, Iowa. This important ceremony was topped off by all in attendance enjoying a pint of their favorite flavor of Falk’s Ice Cream. The event was a culmination of nearly ten years of planning and cooperation to span the Nishnabotna River by Ken Ossian and Dr Stan Sibley, along with the McGreer Family and County officials. Many of those attending the ceremony fondly remember that Hawkins Park, near the bridge, was an early twentieth century amusement park.
